About Rose

ROSE – Rural Organisation for Social Empowerment – is an organisation caring for socially disadvantaged children in a Hyderabad street school.

ROSE was founded by Seshaiah Veeragandham and Robert Fellner-Feldegg in India, and in 2011 the German version of the non-profit association ROSE e.V. was created. The German organisation is headed by Robert and Eva Fellner-Feldegg. Their labour, know-how and a good amount of enthusiasm created a financial basis for the activities in India. This collected money is used locally to create a pleasant school atmosphere for the pupils. For example, benches, books and a playground were purchased, families and above all girls were supported and top pupils were further supported with scholarships.

Rose Funding

ROSE is a German registered association that collects donations for the support of street children. All donations are collected voluntarily. Necessary works like the Internet appearance/tax declaration etc. are likewise provided voluntarily by the members. It is important that a team around Mr. Seshaiah is available on site who also invests a lot of time and energy in the project and therefore makes sure that every donation reaches the children directly and without administrative costs.

ROSE has begun with the fact that all today for the association actively working in the same company have worked and are today friendly connected.
